Sometimes you don't know it was a rental. We bought a unit from a RV dealer after the salesman said quite sincerely the unit was a trade-in and not a rental. I think it was a trade-in but the previous owner must have bought it as a rental. When we were washing it, we saw the shadow of numbers on the cab overhang. It was only visible at a certain time of the day. Have only been able to see the numbers twice--the paint job was that good. I suspected it was a rental before we saw it because the mileage was higher than most 2007 models (48,000). The lure of a good price sucked us in and I put aside my gut feelings. Fortunately the unit has given us few problems. We bought it in September 2014.
