Thank you IAMICHABOD. September sounds like just about the right time, as my rental here in Baja will be up. Just need to figure out my fall / winter plans so I know I have a place to go. Still very much a newbie, so want to take it slow and be around people in case I run into trouble.

I'll definitely put those numbers in my notebook right now. And thanks SO MUCH for this thread - it totally unblocked me, as my mind was just having such a hard time with prices I was seeing on other used rigs. This gave me the confidence to consider ex-rentals and higher mileage.
