At first I had my heart set on a Class C Seneca and Dynamax Corp Dx3. Big class C's. But then I found out that not all RV parks accept Class Cs, so we went with a Class A so that no one can turn us away.

Eliminating the RV builder from touching the engine bay and dash wiring is a HUGE factor. The V10 being trouble-free is the other.

The regular RV problems, like leaks and stuck Schwintek slides happen just as often.

The 450 is easy to maintain...oil changes are inexpensive.

Bought the upgraded cap on my nose and after a year of camping (lots of rain this year), dry inside. New power gear slide system works well so far. About 120 nights and many states covered, (In other words, systems are being used and tested.)

The C is shorter length wise and height so easier to drive and park.

If a park only has As in it, I want nothing to do with it.

Many places where we camp, a Class A wouldn't fit plus, our camping style rules out any desire to camp in Class-A-Only type commercial camp grounds. Those usually aren't "campgrounds" anyway ... they're resorts for rolling condos.

Our Class C not only fits most everywhere, but it's Ford chassis starting point definitely is safer for the passenger and driver ... plus easy to take care of personally and buy maintenance on all over at least the U.S..

As far as "coach leaking" is concerned, that can be almost entirely gotten around through purchase of just the right models with just the right amount of good engineering, but one has to know what to look for.

I sure enjoy my class B+ much better than my class A.
