Cab Privacy Curtains

Question

When we went out this past weekend for the first time in our Class C, we went to put up the privacy curtain. Along the inside edge of the cab are these little round velcro tabs to place the velcro part of the curtain on. The problem we came across was that the curtain was a bit longer than the cab, but about a foot on each section. Also, the last tabs in the cab area was about a foot from the corner of the cab. So we had to sort of wedge the curtain into a joint of where the cab meats the rest of the RV. and let the other foot hang down. Is this normal? Are we missing something? Perhaps more velcro tabs? Should the curtain be that long? Or is there a trick to it?

My curtain is that long on my C.BTW, the best privacy curtain is one that fits on the outside and connects around the corners of each cab door, across the windshield. Complete privacy and protection from outside elements, while giving you back some space inside.

Yes it seems to be longer than needed....but
We push the curtains up on the dash and have to leave a bunch of slack on each side of the windshield. The sun visors fold down to cover the slack we left there.

We also leave slack where it makes the curve to the side windows.
When we are done, the length comes out just about right.

Play with it a little leaving slack where needed and I'm sure you'll find some tricks to make it work better.

we do have one of those that fit around the outside also for when we are going to be staying a while.

The one on mine is the same way.But I found that there were Velcro dots on the vertical walls that tightened it up a bit,you can see them in This Post in the last 2 pictures.

I found that it was a pain to put up and down so I opted for One Of These That goes on the outside.

It provided privacy and also opened it up adding more room. You can see it in the back round of the pictures,

I think someone skipped out on us. I need to look in the bag and see if there are more in there that I can use.
