Cannot start engine

I have 2095 Fleetwood 39S Providence, there is a 5 amp fuse in the fuse block that blows as soon as you put it in. When I turn the ignition on the glow plug light does not come on and when you turn the ignition key to start nothing happens
Check the engine compartment and found a nest on top of the engine but cannot see any wires chewed up
Any ideas on what could be wrong

5 amp fuses are usually control circuits
For example the step CONTROL switch
    The battery Disconnect solenoid
    It isolator solenoid
    All have 5 amp fuses

There may be other 5 amp circuits as well.

Was that nest made from the wiring harness? Ugh.
  • Welcome.

Please "edit" your post to tell us what year (not 2095) and what engine you have.

Does the Allison shift pad illuminate when the key is turned on?
  • Sorry that happened to you. The nest is certainly a good clue. It happened to me in the past. I just had to get a test light and start at the battery and trace the power to all components. I know it sounds time consuming, but there is little else you can do.
