Ceiling Light dim on shore power

Question

Hello,My ceiling light are dim when on shore power. Microwave works fine. What can be the problem. When I start the cab engine, the light get bright. Any ideas of what can be the problem? Thank Greyhawk 31SS Class C

Your converter is not charging the house battery when you are plugged in.  Check the converter breaker, and the 12V output fuses.

You may want to keep a close eye on your batteries. Sometimes finding a tripped converter circuit breaker means perhaps one of your battery cells have boiled out its fluids and the battery is starting to go into self destruct.

The converter/charger unit tripped it's circuit breaker because of a possible heavy load by the battery starting to go bad on you...
