If it is a 6.0, here's a YouTube video. The upper fuel filter is right next to the oil filter and you don't have to move anything to get to it. The video is for a 2004. The top filter is the same as a 2005, though the frame rail filter for the 2005 has a slightly different cap.

Thanks for the info, but the video is about a Ford Super Duty pick-up, not a motorhome. A motor home is different than a pick-up. The filter is not located like your truck. I wish it was. It is located under the driver's side cowling behind a large aluminum tube that I think is for coolant for the turbo. Also the brake fluid filler is in the way. Also yes , I am talking about a 6.0 diesel. - carringbExplorerAlso while doing the filter, don't forget to drain any water out from the drain-bolt on the "HFCM" aka lower fuel filter housing. If you see any sludge come out, order a new "HFCM" cover panel, which will come with a new O-ring and drain bolt (it's the only way to get the o-ring, and you can't re-use it if you have to pop the cover to clean out the rest of the sludge).

- TrackrigExplorer IIThe top one is very easy to do, it couldn't be simpler. The one in the frame rail is more difficult.
After going over to a local shop to look at fuel filters they cut open for this truck, I'm only using the Ford filters from now on. They're the only one that have a waterproof member in them to stop water from going through to the injector pump which is very expensive when water ruins it.
Bill - carringbExplorerIt's not hard to do. But do use Motorcraft filters. Racor is the only other brand you should use. Any other brand will be slightly short to get around Ford's patent. This allows some oil to bypass, and eventually that debris will plug your HPOP screen, and once that screen ruptures, things go bad fast.
PS - do you have a coolant filter installed?
