What will happen is that when you get everything wired correctly, the DRL system will activate your HIDs. They will be on all of the time.
Under the dash on the passenger side is a fuse box that has a DRL fuse in it. 13, 15...18...something like that. Anyway...pull the fuse. You will still have the green DRL indicator illuminated on the dash but your headlights will now operate normally.
