Research all you want, but don't get paralysis by analysis. I have 3 RV's. A KZ travel trailer, Class A bounder, and Class C Toyota pictured below.
The Class A is bigger and great for trips. It can also handle a toad. So can most class C RV's. (albeit my Class C Toyota is smaller and can't). The MAIN advantage of a Class A over a C is that the views are way better while driving, you are higher up, and it can tow more.
The advantage of a Class C is they are way easier to drive. It feels like a pickup.
The advantage to a TT is that you get a tow vehicle in town. If you tow a toad with an A or C, it is just about the same setup to unhitch the toad. However, with an A or C, you do have an extra vehicle if you have mechanical trouble.
It's circular and all have and advantage in some way or another.
