Coachman Cross Country Air Brake tanks

As a truck driver I know alot about air brakes, and about draining the tanks for the system, But I recently purchased a Coachman Cross Country 2003,and for the life of me I can't find the air tanks to drain. I have looked and read and still unable to find them. I know they are probably right in front of me all the time..anyone have any ideas to look..
  • Not sure what frame your coach is, but ours is Freightliner. The drain lanyards are on the frame behind the right and left front wheels. You'll have to turn the wheels to get at them. Most likely you'll need something the extend your reach if your not into crawling under the MH. A awning rod would reach. There are two on the passenger side and one on the driver ( on my coach)

Note these aren't to drain them, but to release pressure to check for water.

    Ditto for our Freightliner.
  • And on our Freightliner chassis (under a 2005 Fleetwood Excursion 39S) the drain lanyards are on the passenger frame rail right beside the generator. You have to raise the "hood" to reach them. I must say that I've never looked for the air tanks themselves.
