The story on this rv was that the couple traded it in for a larger/different unit to accommodate their grandchildren.
You've received some excellent advice from the forum readers so far. Here's another thought-Sounds like it is being offered by a dealer? If so, what's the reputation of the dealer standing behind used units? Even though everything checks OK as it is sitting, what about 30 days down the road when something fails?
I might be willing to take a chance on something used because of the dealer's willingness to make it right after the sale and factor that into the deal.
Just something else to consider that might make this offer more or less attractive.
This is a fairly small dealer (competing only with Camping World in the are). We do not have many dealers around. They have some testimonials on their website of happy people which I hope are true? I do need to go in depth a little further with them but, what they do is: once you buy it they go over it from head to toe and make sure everything works and reseal the roof automatically and make any changes or fix anything that we tell them. Then they go through arverything with us and make sure it is to our satisfaction and we’re done. Plus they also have a basic RV school that they include. I do find it strange that they do not make sure everything is good before the sale, but that seems to be the norm (around here and Myrtle Beach) anyway.
You have all been so extremely helpful. I cannot thank you enough.
