Hi, Would like members opinion on what brand of cordless upright vacuum cleaner they like best. :hThanks

We were looking at them. One's we found only run about 15 min on a charge.Some had charger built into them. Some had a charging station.Think we will go with a corded one.

I bought a dyson battery vac. will leave it plugged in until we need it. it only works for 20 minutes or so.

We looked and looked at cordless vacs but couldn't find one we liked or at price that was reasonable. Ended up by a corded Bissell from Walmart. It is about 3/4 the size of a standard upright vacuum, bagless and with the smaller head can get between the dining chairs without moving them. It cleans really good and only paid $34.99 for it.

I have a built in central vac, and a dyson cordless vac. I can count on one hand the times that we used the central vac. The dyson does an excellent job, and the runtime is long enough to do the entire coach. I have the charging base permanently installed in the closet. It is a simple 1,2,3 to unhook and use and then put back on the charger. The central vac hose is a pain to hook up use and put back. The hose is heavy and ungainly to get back into the storage bag. The only con to the dyson, is that you can't leave it in the coach if the temps go below 40, as the battery is extremely susceptible to cold. I had one fail, which they replaced with much coaxing. It is now on the winterization checklist.

We also have the Hoover LiNX, works great on our RV vinyl floors and throw rugs. My wife uses almost daily at home on our tile floors.

We have been RVing since 1976 and have owned all the major Vacs. The best one we owned has been a Dyson! Pricey YES! But it's the real deal you get what you paid for JMHO.

Realy for us a broom works great. I removed all the carpet in the MH. Easy clean and mop.

Another vote for the cordless Dyson for the motorhome. We no longer use the central as the Dyson is much more effective. Plus it's also handy around our house when we are not traveling.:)

looked hard at the dyson cordless, then I looked at the dogs and bought the dc50 animal dyson midget upright,corded. The turbo hair brush works period. Not to mention the optional grooming brush... beater bar/hose gets dirt out you never knew was there.

Delta Force Stick

I had a electrolux ergo... (orange one) but like the Delta Force more. It has more power than the orange one but they have come out with a more powerful one(black one) that I have not tried.

Hoover just came out with a cordless. Looked interesting.

Dyson battery powered for us, and have yet to use the central vac in our 5er.
In the amount of time it would take me to get the hose(s) out for the central vac and hooked up I could be almost done using the Dyson.

Our daughter has one and it worked well so we bought one for the trailer. Then winter came and we brought it home to use in the house. All winter our cordless Dyson has hung on the wall while we use the LiNX daily.

It goes back to the trailer this weekend so I may have to buy a new one for home.

Just get a small vacuum. We went thru 2. Took longer to charge up than to plug in a regular one to vacuum.
