Looks like about 5 PM today my old jitney will be out of state heading to a new home.

It was a good coach, and it killed the bear that almost killed me!...:E

I hope the next owner has as much fun as the wife and I did with her!.

I remember when i joined the forum back in '02 right after we bought our 36' CC Allure. My first post and many thereafter were answered quickly and accurately by Mr CC himself, "Sully". Sorry to see you hang it up but proud that you recognized the fact that you should. I wish you the best sir and please stay on the forum and help those of us that don't have the experience of your years.

Sorry to see you hang it up, Gary. You contributions to the forum are legend, and will be missed. Fair winds and following seas to you, my friend.
Currently planning for retirement.....planning to build a small home in Nova Scotia for summers and someday year-round. Trying to sort out a good way to spend winters in central Florida as I can't drive anymore.

Gary congrats on the sale. Are you going to down size? I thought I remember you looking at a smaller unit. We only have had our CC for a year but really like it.

We still liked out Allure...problem is I got to feeble to drive it!:E

Might downsize??...or might give it up and get a station wagon to haul our gear in and motel it....who knows?

One of the great things about these many boards and forums we're on, is the learning from others. I alluded to how influential Sully was to my wife and I as we started our search for our regiment coach. I specifically added CC due to his many positive posts.

The other thing we get from veterans of this board, is leading by example. The wisdom to make the decision on your own, based upon your own gut instincts - that it is time to stop driving a large vehicle. Well, that is 'Leading by example.'...

Again, salute sir, and whatever and however your future journeys are - I have not doubt you will continue to have fun, and participate:)!

Respectfully, former fellow Aerospace (Rohr) employee,

You chose wisely Sully. I always preferred Country Coach. I not only appreciated the high quality, but also the great "look".
You've been great on these RV forums. I wish you and yours the best of luck going forward.

That's how I felt years ago selling our boat and getting out of boating. Our family dog Trever stood is the driveway between the boat and its new owner pick up truck, not wanting to move to let the boat go. I had to go pick him up to move him away! It was sad to see the lifestyle go so I feel your pain Sully.

One of my saddest days was watching the new owner drive out of our driveway in MY Country Coach. I feel your pain.

Always appreciated your enthusiasm.

Congrats on the sale. It sounds like a bittersweet day. I hope you enjoy the next phase as much as you have this one.

I'm still getting over not seeing your sombrero hat picture. And now you tell report the CC is moving on. Please give me time to adjust to these things...

And yes, sorry to see your CC move on - but a bit of your character will go with it...

And Sully - You were instrumental in our decision to add CC onto our short list. I finally decided to go look at a few units, to see what you were talking about as far as build quality. After those inspections, they were solid on our short list. And what we're enjoying today!!

Look forward to your next chapter:)!

Sully, sorry you had to give it up. We know the feeling, it was sad when we left the Affinity on the lot--she had been good to us. Doesn't help we've been without the new coach for a month and a half getting it zero'ed out at Prevost and Marathon. Going up to Ft Worth Wednesday; hopefully it will be ready.

You've been a great spokesperson for CCs, Sully.

If I had it to do all over again, I think a CC would be the coach of choice . . . Magna maybe? or an older Concept.
