Damon quality?

Hi. I have been looking at a 2011 Damon Daybreak, which is on the ford platform. I have always thought of Damon as a quality MH, but have read quality may have gone down hill since they were acquired by Thor. I have looked at a lot of Thor products and have not been impressed with the finish and I have concerns about various mechanical issues such as the slides. Any comments on later generation Daybreaks?

The fit and finish, when I bought the unit, was as good as Winnebago. JM2¢...
