I found this to be true. However you have to hang tough because they will get the profit back from you with the extended warranties and other such add-ons if you let them. Higher end vehicles have higher percentage markup to get MSRP. I also found that searching all the online RV sales for the new model I wanted revealed the discount possible as a couple dealers were advertising a very low price for the unit while most listed MSRP or more. It gave me the courage of my conviction when I went to my dealer.
