Decals

If your coach has ever spent anytime in the Florida sun (in my case a Born Free), you know the damage those decals experience. My "silver" ones were crackling badly - looking tarnished. I contacted the factory and found out they were no longer available for my 2008 27' RSB. I just wanted to maintain my coach for the long haul...keep it looking its best. During my bi-annual detailing appointment with Raul Moreno of Astatula, FL in December, we decided to strip just the large silver decals and paint on new ones using the same techniques required for a full body paint job. Wow! Good as new! Can't tell the difference. Great color match. And now, 6 months later it still looks factory fresh. As other decals begin to fade and wear, I will replace on an as needed basis. Besides recommending Raul and Company (352-636-2115) to anyone for not only detailing work but now decal replacement, I hope this information gives you some creative outside the box ideas.
  • We have a 31' class C that we have removed the decals and painted on replacements. only one left is the one on the front above the cab. She looks like new..

  • WE have 2001 Class A and also had all the decals removed and then painted back on. Cost was reasonable and as OP stated now looks like new. Would do it again, no problem.
  • my decals are coming off like mad. wife asked me a few weeks ago she said looked like someone keyed the sides. I called factory last year and they wanted over $1300 for replacements. I will lower my price that much when I sell it.
