Electric Steps Ground wire
I just purchased a 2017 Jayco Red Hawk 29xk. The ground wire came loose on my way home from the dealership. The wire is intact, but I cannot find where it connects. Any suggestions?

- They may not have ever connected it.
There should be two ground wires at the step. Mine had one connected to the step mounting bracket and the other to chassis frame. I installed a jumper between those two point for extra measure.
If it is the ground best to connect to the chassis frame. - Enblethen is correct. It has two ground wires. One is larger than the other. The heavier one is attached to the motorhome frame and I believe it will be green. I believe the second wire is for the steps and will also be green or black. Yours is most likely a Kwikee electric step. You can find the Owner's Manual #888 on the internet.
