Electrical Issue

It's a small point, but one many people miss. When you say there is no power there, are you checking from the hot part of the socket to the ground on the socket, or are you checking from the hot part of the socket to a known ground from some place else?

It exactly 50% of all cases, it's the hot feed not there, and the other 50% there is no return feed. In many cases, they connect the grounds under a marrett, but the flimsy wire they use to connect to the actual socket gets hot and falls off the socket.

10 forty 2, they are incandescent bulbs, one fixture is already removed and the connecting wires are where I tested it.
The weirdest part is that of the 3 lights affected the middle one (I replaced it) works and the lights on either side are dead.

Well guess I left out something that might be useful. The coach is a 1999 Coachmen Catalina 31ft. It's similar to the Mirada.

It always helps to give the info on your motorhome. Someone on here may have the same model and have had a similar problem.

Fluorescent tubes or incandescent bulbs? If it's a fluorescent tube fixture, then the 12VDC ballast may be bad. Not sure where you checked the power source, but check the wires supplying power to the fixture and not the bulb socket itself to verify that power is indeed going to the fixture in the first place. If it is, then you could have a bad switch or a bad fixture altogether.

Folks, there is NO common switch, each light has its own switch on the light.
I have used a multimeter on them and there
No Power and No continuity either in the light or the wires behind it.

It is probably the switch I have had to replace several.I can't remember where I got them. I think on eBay.

I'm guessing your talking 12 volt lighting. Check them for power and ground with a meter. If you don't have a meter, Autozone and the likes sell them for about 15 bucks. Every RV should have one.

They are all independently switched as part of the fixture. No wall switches for any of them.
