Don't bother with the velcro - it won't hold. The sticky part either gets too hot or too cold and ends up falling down. Instead, use the small screw to attach it.

If you're going with battery lights, look for this one at Harbor Freight (doesn't have a remote but price is under $10): LED track light

I have it installed inside my floor to ceiling pantry cupboard and it really makes seeing into the cupboard easy. Each light can be angled.

If you don't put in more 12v lights now, I would at least run the wiring for more and tape them off. That way, you can easily add them later (instead of having to go through the new walls, etc.).

When you add outlets, I would add at least two 12v outlets (cigarette lighter style) and two 12v usb outlets (you can get a panel with the 12v and 2 usb outlets on amazon for $12) - one set near your bed and one set near your dinette or counter (wherever you're most likely to set your phone down).

I'm having the main light hooked to a light switch as there was absolutely none in there originally which annoyed me for walking (not a fan of having to walk in the dark to find a light). I've got 6 plug sockets set to be put in so that I've got plenty lol. Thanks for all your help!

It sounds like you are just wanting to re-wire the HOUSE portion of the MH, right? You aren't going to rewire the engine portion. In that case, leave the brake light wiring alone - it will be connected to the engine portion (same with the running lights). Test for those wires and tag them so you know to leave them alone.

For the house wiring, since you are building from scratch, you don't need a diagram of YOUR MH's wiring, you just need a diagram of any MH's wiring. Just do a search online for "motorhome wiring diagram". Use that as the guide to create your new wiring. The one area with the engine wiring I would re-do is the connection of the house battery to the alternator (so it charges while you're driving down the road) - the wires they used to connect them were too small for the job, you really want to use 4 or 6 gauge for that (not the 12 or 14 that the manufacturer used).

In regards to your lighting plans, with LED lights, there is very little electrical use. I would put in at least 2 lights rather than the one you plan, it won't take any more power and you'll have the ability to better see into cupboards, etc. One light in the center won't shed any light onto the contents of the pantry (pun intended) at the back.

I'd suggest picking up an inexpensive battery powered LED light that can stick on the ceiling, then one evening after dusk, go into the MH with it and stick it in various places to see how much light it provides on the ends. I know in my MH (21ft), the middle light fixture provides a great "general" light, but isn't enough to do the cooking or cleanup in the kitchen, and isn't enough to read by in the cabover bunk.

Unfortunately I don't have the funds for that. I understand the concept of electrical work but I'm looking more for a blueprint of the electrical system. Once I see one I can work with it to rewire my rv. I've spent way more money than I originally planned on this rv, and so I can't keep paying people to come do the work for me. When I am perfectly capible of doing it on my own. I just need to see a blue print or layout of the wiring.

If I didn't have a clue about electrical systems, I would hire a professional for the design and installation. Nothing to mess around with.

Is this a trailer or MH? If a MH there are no wires going to the brakes, the brakes are hydraulic

You have already made major mods.

My concern is that the brakes would be wired into the engine electrical system and I have no clue how that works. Plus the majority of the wires are **** near the exact same colors throughout the entire rv.
