eternabond tape

I put some eternabond tape on the seems of my motorhome and it started to rain. The rain stopped so I went outside and wiped it down were I was working and started to finish the job.I noticed in some places it wasn't sticking.I am assuming it was the rain because before it stated to rain it was sticking good.Eventually will it stick or has the water destroyed it from sticking?
  • I have found that the surface has to be entirely dry for it to stick and apply pressure (roller) to stick well.
  • Let it dry and try again with a wallpaper edge roller - it should stick just fine assuming you cleaned the roof first
  • Are you pushing it down hard? it takes a fair amount of pressure to do more than just stick it down.
  • The original use for Eternabond was to seal underwater cables while underwater. A few drops of water should make no difference unless there was some silicone on the roof. That is the only thing Eternabond will not stick to.
  • I'd let it dry and try again. :) The worst that can happen is it won't work.
