Where to find and order a nice durable step covering that goes on the elec step outside rig?

type of RV? size of step? superior stainless make a beautifull stainless kit for Rv steps. $200 - GjacExplorer IIIYou don't say what year your MH is or what condition your steps are in. Mine were badly rusted and bent when I bought the MH 10 years ago after straitening, removing the rust and painting I glued a piece of carpet that had a plastic baking on it to the top of the steps with contact adhesive. I power wash once a year also the steps always stay out unless the MH is moving. I have replaced the carpet sections twice in 10 years.
- IvylogExplorer IIII went through several carpet type ones until I found one that's more like plastic AstroTurf. It's easy to clean with just a hose. Unfortunately I cannot find a name on it and it's been on so long I'm not sure where I got it... pretty sure from a vendor at a RV show/rally.
- 23hotrodrExplorerThe powder coat on our step was starting to peel. So, I scraped off all the loose coating, thuroughly cleaned the step, and coated it with Duplicolor spray on truck bed coating. After this was completely cured, I got one of those shoe scrubber mats with all the little fingers, cut it to the size of the step, and attached it to the step with plastic coated clothesline wire that wrapped around the mat and step on each end and was tightly twisted underneath. This makes a good anti-slip step that also cleans shoes. It has held up well for over six years now.
Good luck-- Mick - subtrollExplorerWe've used the ones from Camping world with good success for ten years, replacing then every few of years.
A good friend buys carpet from Lowes/ Home depot and a grommet kit and makes his own.
