- RLS7201Explorer IIThe ZF brake assembly on your MH uses regulator brake shoes. They are NOT wet. But the whole assemble needs to be taken apart to change the shoes. You can buy the shoes on rockauto.com. You can buy other parts for your ZF brake assembly here, with exploded parts view. http://www.allstategear.com/ZFParkingBrake.htm The area where the bearings and seals are, holds 4 oz. of ATF.
At a minimum, you will need both seals and the mounting gasket. Most professionals will use a press for the dis-assembly an re-assembly. It can be done with out a press but does require some creativity. The shaft nut requires a socket of about 2 5/8"?
If you are comfortable with changing seals and setting bearing clearances, go for it.

What type brake shoes are used on the F 53 Parking Brake?
Thanks
It is an organic material. If you are talking about the transmission mounted brake, rather than the brake operating in a drum on the rear rotors, it is a material designed to operate wet, inside a drum filled with ATF.
Ford truck dealer or any of the auto parts chain stores can get the right shoes.
