fleetwood southwind central heating

I HAVE A FLEETWOOD SOUTHWIND 34FOOT CHEVY V8,CAN ANY ONE HELP?
THE CENTRAL HEATING BURNER WILL NOT IGNITE,YOU CAN TURN THE SLIDER SWITCH ONTO HOT IN THE BEDROOM AND THE FAN COMES ON BUT WILL NOT IGNITE THE BURNER,THE UNIT IS A HYDRO FLAME CORPORATION MODEL NO 8535-111.
  • Is the propane tank turned on, is the propane detector on? Turn a stove burner to see if it lights. Have you been running the furnace or is the first time this year?
  • First turn off the caps. It is like yelling, is hard to read, and is rude.

Understand the cycles of an RV furnace. First the fan comes on and runs for a few minutes. Then the burner ignites and the air blown out of the ducts gradually warms until the thermostat is satisfied. The burner turns off and the fan continues to run until the air blown out of the ducts cools. Then the fan turns off.
    1. Do you have propane to the furnace?
    2. Are you allowing enough time for the fan to run until it is time for the burner to ignite?
    3. If yes to #2 above, then can you hear a sparking sound, which would be the igniter trying to light propane?
  • You NEED to CLEAN your RV's buner on the out side. Please turn you CAPS off, your post is hard to read. JMO
  • Your furnace has a sail switch, to see if the blower is running. If the switch fails, the circuit board will not proceed to ignition. The sail switch is a micro switch with a metal tab hanging in the blower are flow. It should be the first thing to check.
