40# in front and 55# in rear produce a pretty smooth ride. Not entirely car-like but the banging and crashing are gone except for the really big bumps. Even my wife noticed the difference which says a lot.

I may go a little higher in the rear but I am starting to feel some porpoising going on at these pressures.

You will have to play with your pressures as each rig is different. Note that this is for a 2005 National RV Sea Breeze 1341 riding on a 22K chassis. My last motorhome was a 2002 Fleetwood Fiesta on a 18K chassis and the pressures needed to improve the ride for that chassis were lower.

Hi Edward 75, please feel free to send me a PM if I can ever be of any help as we've had our Residency now for 13+ years and have learned a lot about the coach. I believe ours is basically the same as yours with exception perhaps of a different front end cap.

Based on our experience with our Residency, I would consider it to be a bit above average in build quality.

LVJ58,after reading your post I looked up the Henschen suspension system and I find that is whar I have on my Residency instead of the Mo-ryde. I find I have a Lot to learn about suspension systems. Thanks to all who read and posted to this topic.

I too have also added airbags on both front and rear of chassis and it has improved both ride and control significantly.

Post deleted as tag suspension on our 2000 Residency diffierent than on yours--we have the Henschen suspension.

Edward, I added Firestone Ride Right springs to both chassis. My first chassis was an 01 18K chassis. The second is an 04 22K chassis. Both have 19.5 tires. I am still playing around with my pressures on the 2nd chassis. But 35# in front and 50# in back make a noticeable improvement. Heading out tonight with 40# front and 55# in back to see what difference those pressures make.

Ok, I was wrong again. Went out and got under the coach and did indeed find Mor-ride as stated by some of you, this is why I read this forum daily. My hat is off to the people on this forum. Again thanks for the help and if I can be of any help to others just ask. Joe

Thanks for the insight. Cybrfalcon what type air bags did you install? I have a 37ft with tag axle. It has the v10 with 19.5 tires.Also my front springs are bowed down instead of up. I will look again but the tag seems to be solid mount and this could be a real problem.
