Freightliner dealer service dept. rejects my Pace Arrow!

International chassis, International (DT466) engine.

You are right, there are some that will take other chassis. And I believe that they should, But the major Freightliner shops like in Gafney I believe they have to be Freightliner. Does not matter what engine because Freightliner will install Cats, Cummins and even Mercedes engines. But I do not believe they would take others chassis.

Local Freightliner shops like the one we have here in Hesperia, Ca they have a big sign that says they will service Cat, Cummins etc etc.

In my case, the hardest ones require moving the coach to get. If they get those, they get all of them. That and after a few times, you know how long it takes for each one. Typically if they know the count, they get all of them. I've had to tell them sometimes, where they all are. The difference is, if you actually are talking to the tech, rather than the service writer, that face to face makes a difference in how much they care about getting it right. The shop I go to has been doing mine for 11 years, so they know me.

Smaller coaches like that can be done at any quick lube joint. Just make sure you know what the zerk count is, so you can make sure they get all of them. I've been taking mine to quick lube place since I bought it. My mirrors just clear their entrance door. I don't do it my self, mainly because of having to dispose of the oil.

Many quick-lubes around here won't do the job...either the coach won't fit through the door, the floor is not rated for the weight, or both.
