What's the rush when your retired or on vacation?
Because I know that my time on earth is limited so why not spend it at my destination instead of behind the wheel. :B
I have always thought people that drive too fast just want to make it quicker to their funeral. Speed kills and driving a 25000# rv at excessive speed is plain foolishness. Probably drive a car length apart at 70 mph as well. See this everyday on the highways and people wonder why there are so many collisions.
Yep, I heard the same thing when I bought my first airplane. I heard it when I raced motorcycles and cars. Heard it when I sky dived and as I did lots of dangerous things. Now, many many years later, I have lived a full life, with great-grandchildren, and according to my recent flight physical, I am in good health and determined to experience all that life has to offer. I know that life does not offer much sitting behind the wheel of an RV.
I realize it is always the other guys that are the dangerous ones when they are driving the speed limit and pass you as you camp out on the interstate. Since I said I travel at the posted speed limit, and you feel that is too fast for you maybe you need to examine whether you belong behind the wheel of a large vehicle. I am tested regularly, are you?
