Front End Noise

I recently had two new tires put on the front of my m/h. They used some kind of material in the tires to balance them (beads?). I now have a noise in the front of my m/h home that I can hear when I am slowly moving. I wonder if it is from those (beads) in the tires, or possibly from my wheel covers. Anyone have any ideas about this?

Hmmm, you had better hope that Debi doesn't read that! :)

But back to the OP's problem, if its not a wheel cover, perhaps check for a stone caught in the disc brake? You didn't describe the noise...

    ROTFLMAO
  • Dennis,
I hope your wife doesn't log onto this site or there may be a job opening for the pilot of the Monaco soon. (LOL!!) :B

  • I had a noise in my front end and it turned out to be the wheel covers. I bought some of the self sticking foam that is used for insulating around doors in Home depot an attached it to the inside of the wheel cover. It eliminated the noise.

X2. Pop the wheel covers off and take it for a spin.

  • I wouldn't think you would be able to hear the beads at that distance. Might want to take a look at things.
