- Mandalay_ParrExplorerI had a good experience with them. Course that was 9 years ago.
- fla-gypsyExplorerIt is a very large family owned dealer with many locations. I suspect it depends greatly on who is managing the one you are considering.
- et2ExplorerJust bought our first MH from them recently. Had a good sales guy and finance gal. For the most part it was probably the best purchasing experience we had. Just watch at the end when they want to charge you more for documentation fees.
The owners live in MI. - bren5666ExplorerIt probably depends on the location. I would not recommend the one in Canton,Ohio due to the games they tried to play with me and their registration mess-ups. I'd be happy to tell you more if you'd like to hear about it. Just message me
- charlesExplorerIn 2011 I purchased a new Winnebago from the one in Canton, Ohio. Except for the pricing, there is nothing good I can say about them, nothing.
Nick - wa8yxmExplorer IIIWith any business, the bigger the business the more "mixed" the reviews will be. And if I'm not mistaken General is the largest dealer in Michigan.
Thus you will find folk who swear by them and at them.. And a few like me.
I do neither. I feel I got a good deal on the RV but I will warn you.
I bought my RV on time, I also got Joint Credit life... The catch is they sold me short on that policy,,, IT paid about 10% of what it should have when my wife died.. So I do feel ripped off.
I am, however, dealing with it on another level. - chuckftboyExplorerMy son bought a 5er, toy hauler from them and wes pretty happy with General.

This is the first that I have heard of this issue so it is something to be careful of..... Are you saying that the policy was for an amount less than the remaining principle?

Our salesman Floyd broke the mold as he was pleasant to deal with and extremely knowledgeable about MHs.
The business manager we were stuck with for paper signing was a PIA with all the extra stuff he tried to sell us and did not like being told NO. That was the only negative to the purchase. - the_silverbackExplorerI haven't had good luck with them. Nor has my best friend. I live in southern Mic Mich. and got better deals on two MH's in IN. Their labor rate is also $20.00/hour higher than some dealers in IN.
