  • Oh yeah, we at C and B have been using Red Max Pro and Zep for our older RV's. Do a search and you'll find a ton of info about what and how. Recently I read concrete sealer does the same thing.
  • Lots of topics on it. Use 'Red Max Pro', 'RMP' or other variances of such as a search string and you'll get enough reading for several weeks.

I used it on my coach and it came out very nice but I'm stripping it off as part of my sale preps for next year. Don't want to give the next owner something out of the ordinary to deal with.

Some owners have had very disappointing results with peeling or flaking. You have to be careful cleaning the coach or roof once applied. Strong cleaners may stripe if off unevenly. It's tool best saved as a last resort to improving the appearance of the coach. Applying isn't hard but stripping is a bear. If your coach is painted best to stay with a good quality car wax.

My rig after a wash and a recoating.

    Your results may vary.
  • I used the Red Max on my 1994 PaceArrow with Filon sidewalls. I would only use it as a last resort and would never ever put it on paint.
  • It worked good on mine and has held up fine for 4 years-----going to give it another application next spring.
  • I don't think they make Red Max Pro anymore, I have not seen it in a couple years.
    ZEP is the same thing.

Here's a old post on ZEP/RED MAX PRO Application.

It did a great job on our 96 Southwind.
  • Thanks Harvard. Do not know why it came out to where you could not just click on it?? I also agree not to use this on new RV's but would work great on older RV's that do not have full paint jobs that are in good shape. Mine is a 2004 and the white has no shine at all.
