How do you add gear oil to the front axle in an 07 F53?

The F53 front axle uses greased bearings, not oil filled.

Axle or hubs? If oil is leaking from the hub you need it fixed, if oil isn't leaking it is probably still full. The full line is just under the plug.

If in fact it has been converted to oil hubs the simplest way is to clean the dirt from around the rubber plug, pop it out and fill to just below the bottom of the hole. If the hub is empty due to repair let it sit for several hours to allow oil to flow to inter bearing.

If you don't know where to fill it, how do you know it needs filling?

Worked on, serviced semi's, trailers for 30 years.
I kept hub oil in a 2 ltr soft drink bottle that was the right size to easily pour in hubs.
