- Branson_N_TucsoExplorer IIHave 2003 Providence, mine located left corner below wall dresser. Took draws out a d disconnected the water line.
Then had to pull the unit out from out side. Not hard but time consuming. Mine was leaking around the seam. Elected to replace whole heater since I had it out and old. - Big_KatunaExplorer IIThanks for the replys. I’ll probably tackle it next week.
Doug Rainer, you are an scholar and a gentleman! Thank you. - tinkererExplorer

I had to replace the water tank twice on my 2007 Discovery through neglecting to drain it before cold weather split them in 2. I removed everything through the side panel on the outside. It not a complicated job. Just once it happened you would be wise enough to let it happen the second time! I now have replaced the drain plug with a drain valve similar to one on a radiator.;)
Do you mean water tank or hot water heater?
It was my hot water heater, sorry for my vague post. - fishingbob61ExplorerOn my 05 Bounder DP the water heater is under the drawers along side of closet. Remove the drawers.
- anakindogwalkerExplorerSomething similar happened to me. I removed the panel that the bypass valve was mounted to access the plumbing behind. In my case, the bypass valve itself had to be replaced.
- The easiest way is to pull the water heater. You pull it out partially and when you have it out about 12 inches you can then access the water lines and such from the cavity in the closet area. Once those lines are disconnected(2) you pull the water heater. Fleetwood used to have a 120 cord plugged into a receptacle that made disconnecting the 120 cord easy at the rear. Doug

The WH is in the rear right corner in bedroom. There are no screws visible in the wall between closet and WH.
Feel so stupid for not using pressure regulater. - tinkererExplorerI had to replace the water tank twice on my 2007 Discovery through neglecting to drain it before cold weather split them in 2. - TrackrigExplorer III have the same rig, but haven't had to work on the WH or the piping under the washer. Since the WH is under the washer/dryer, I'd bet you have to pull the W/D. The WH can probably be removed from the outside, but I don't know how you'd hook the piping back up behind it once you put it back in.
Not that it makes much difference, but was the broken pipe to the WD or the WH, or can you tell?
Please let us know later what the repair involved.
