Do you mean humidifier or DEhumidifier?
We have used one for several years over the winter. This winter since we are full timing I bought two small whisper quiet dehumifier's and have run them 24/7 They take very little energy, and do suck a good quantity of water each day. As long as I have electricity I will run them.
