My son recently went through the same thing. Sold his class A and bought a 41 foot 5er,toy hauler. He still has kids at home so he did a lot of short, weekend trips. He found it took a lot more time to set up and not having access to the toilet and TV on the road didn't work well for his family. He now has a DP with in motion sat. and sold the 5er and pickup. now he just backs in and hits a few buttons and he's camping. He bought new and had to take a hit on the selling price but he doesn't regret it at all
Set up is definitely much quicker with a motor home.
I disagree. Our new trailer with the 6 point Level Up system, I can be set up rather quickly. I can usually be drinking a beer while the trailer is leveling.
