I want this twin bed floorplan

I want this twin bed floorplan in 24-27 feet (shown in 24 feet), without having to buy the $100,000+++ Born Free that features it. This is what our Trail Lite should have been, and we'd have kept it:

Oh, and with swiveling cab seats, please.

I'd even renovate an existing C or A to get this. But it'd have to have all the basic stuff in the right place. Wasn't there a B+ almost like this, except it had twin couches? A BT Cruiser, perhaps?

I am not interested in those with rear twin beds. Well, maybe the Lazy Daze 27 mid-bath. The plan above features both a roomy bath and a roomy kitchen counter. For a 24 foot MH, that is.
Currently RV-less but not done yet.

I use to own a 79 Xplorer 272 class C that had the same floorplan as the one you show, was OK but moving the sheets every morning to get the dining seating area back and setting up the table and making beds again at night was becoming a head ache so I moved up to a class A.

Thanks for the tip!

I prefer having the bath and kitchen flip-flopped like our Trail Lite had, same as the Born Free Spirit shown in the first post. For whatever reason, you get a roomier bath and a roomier counter top. And nice wardrobe cabinets.

We went to Phoenix Cruiser yesterday. We did like the 2552 a lot.

They had an old 2301, I think it was, that would be the right plan if it had twin beds instead of a sofa and dinette. It was almost the same as my old Trail Lite. But the TL lacked about a foot of length to do it. I tried to find a plan online for the 2301, but no luck.

If we do go the twin bed route, the 2552 is a strong contender.

That's a good idea Ron. Thanks!
If you want to see a PC, let me know. We may be near each other. Our 2350 is in our warmly heated & well lit garage. PCs have not changed much in the past 9 years, made pretty much the same using the same materials & workmanship. Of coarse our floor plan is different, but it would give you a good idea what a 2400 might feel like given ours is just 5" shorter.

Snowman9000,

Phoenix Cuiser Model 2400 floor plan "Without" a slide out, is a close cousin to your "ideal" floor plan. Without the slide out, you get a lot more wall space for a full-length couch-bed along that wall. Do the same on the passenger wall. If you want that bed longer yet, just have the factory make the wardrobe closet that much smaller.

Model 2400 is 24'-1" long on the E350 chassis. Add 5" if on the Sprinter. Factory-direct price starts at $76,130. Negotiate some options into it.

I'm looking for a Class C. But, when we had a fiver we also thought of converting it to twins. I saw someone did one by taking those nightstands from the sides and sistering them together in between the twins.

IMO, in many smaller floorplans, whether towable or MH, twins give you more room.

Our previous 5th wheel had been converted from an island queen, to 2 twins. The key is to find something that only has an overhead cabinet - NOT "nightstands" on either side of the queen bed

Just FYI - think that unit Bob Nestor linked to has a bed that drops down from the ceiling (not couches that come together like you mentioned). I saw one at an RV show a couple weeks ago - it seemed really nice UNLESS you are tall. I'm 5'11" and couldn't walk under the bed when it was in its stored position against the ceiling. If they could get another foot of ceiling height, it would be pretty cool.

Look for a the full-size Ford Transit high top van. There are some used ones around. You could make it as simple or fancy as you want.

Maybe build it yourself if you're a dedicated do-it-yourselfer?

Bob Nestor: Thanks! I'd have to see one to learn what the sleeping configuration is supposed to be. Is it north-south? Or east-west, with the two sofas coming together? I'd have to find out. I'm betting the sofas are 5 feet long and you push them together and sleep east west. I want it to be north south on independent permanent beds.
I would not want the 65" LED outside TV, because of the way it eats into the interior width, and presumably eliminates the curb side picture window.

Logans: You're right, the PC 2551 is probably the closest thing out there. I know we would like more counter space than it has. In a perfect world.

Thank you both for the suggestions.
