Completely normal for that age. Don't know your mileage but even if it only had say 50,000 miles on it there could still be many things that go wrong. It could have 12,000 miles on it and still have some of the same things go wrong. Sitting isn't always good. Rubber products still break down over the years etc. So water pumps, alternators, fuel pumps, radiators, furnace, house water pump, u joints are all normal. It may take x amount of repairs to put it back in dependable shape but you know what they say..."Its cheaper to keep her". :)
