Completely normal for that age. Don't know your mileage but even if it only had say 50,000 miles on it there could still be many things that go wrong. It could have 12,000 miles on it and still have some of the same things go wrong. Sitting isn't always good. Rubber products still break down over the years etc. So water pumps, alternators, fuel pumps, radiators, furnace, house water pump, u joints are all normal. It may take x amount of repairs to put it back in dependable shape but you know what they say..."Its cheaper to keep her". :)
Yeah, I kind'ah known it all along, but you're right on the money and it's a good thing to know that it's cheaper to keep'her! ...
The down side is, at 40 feet, she's a bit to big for some job / construction sites!
We had the p-trap in the tub repaired a couple of days ago, and thank goodness American Coach installed the grey and back tanks with a screw in access at the top of the tanks. Because the seal broke at the screw in thing ah mah jig. So we had that repaired as well.
But man, to get to the p-trap you have to gain access to it through a trap door under the left (driver side) rear wheel well.
Now that we got that repaired. Anonymous walked in the bathroom this morning, and all I heard was a few cuss words cause his feet got soaked as the rug was wet as the Pacific ocean! So, now it looks like I may be buying a new throne.
And to think I was planning on buying a new Back up monitor and camera for her, .... like on, Monday? .... LOL
Anonymous Jr.
PS I gotta figure out how I can make Anonymous work harder to make me more money!
