I recently posted about my duo therm heat pump/ACs quickly cycling on and off and staying off for hours at a time. The shop was stumped after several attempts to fix. A mobile mechanic suggested sequentially cutting off lights and not using various outlets to see if perhaps a partially bad ground might be the culprit. Yep, light over the sink. Left it off and problems went away. Light worked perfectly by the way Hope this info may be helpful to others

I verified the same thing on our last outing. Light over sink (a couple feet from the 5 button CC T stat on left side of coach) will make frt AC short cycle or shut off totally.

the flor. light over the dinette (right side of coach) will shut the rear AC off totally.

We verified this 3 different times....and once keeping those 2 lights off..both AC units worked perfectly

Actually, you should go BACK to your original post and put the solution there. Someone may have subscribed to that post and will never see your solution....Dennis

I agree with the possibility of RF interference. Maybe change it out to an led strip?

Could also be RF interference. Thin-lite and others make RF suppressed ballasts. We use them on the sailboat to keep from interfering with electronic equipment.

Just "google" Thinlite RF ballast.

Yes, it was a fluorescent light and the comfort control has a remote sensor

Was this a florescent light?

Do you have a remote thermostat for A/C control?

A very common problem, if the light is florescent. Change the ballast or switch to an LED bulb and your problem will go away.

If you join the Monacoers forum , you would have gotten that advice within minutes, as it is a well known issue.
