Installing a new rear view camera

I am selling one MH and buying a 2004 Jayco 27DS. I would like to get a rear view camera installed in the new (to me) Jayco. Can anyone recommend a camera + monitor that they know works well. What I like about the camera I have on my present MH is that it allows me to see the traffic lanes to either side as well as directly behind me. The camera on my present MH is black and white and the monitor is quite large with a CRT screen. That is old technology! Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Anybody use a Rear View Safety Camera w/7" monitor (RVS 770613) ?

yes... I am ecstatic about it .. it is terrific! ... modified the rear view mirror mount so it accepted the RVS display mount with ball and it gets accolades whenever anyone visits.
  • I am installing the RearViewSafety 770616n 3 camera system right now. What I am toiling with though is how the activate the side cameras with the turn signal. It is not very explicit in the manual and says hook up to the rt signal with the xxx wire and hook up to the lt signal with the yyy wire.
I guess I will do just that unless someone has a different suggestion.
  • Lots of suggestions out there. When I had to replace mine I chose www.rvcams.com. They are real good to work with. I suggest you give them a call.
