Careful driving, 20lbs of air pressure, and I also have a 3" spacer between my rear dually tires for a wider footprint. 13 years on the sand and never been stuck (yet and been through some very soft and wet conditions when a storm shows up without notice. I avoid the "baby powder" sand whenever possible or areas completely churned up by too many other 4x4's especially making sharp turns....don't be afraid, you're missing out on some great times. Plus, there's always the local 4x4 tow truck operator is needed. Unless you frame it down, most situations can be fixed with a shovel and tow strap.
