Jacks won't work

Now you need to clean/tighten up the connectors or you will have the same issue again. When electrical things are loose they get hot.

Found the problem - the sensor in part of the knob where you set and release the parking break. When I got to it, I just rapped it a few times with the screwdriver - the dash light brightened up and the light on the leveling system went out. All is well with the world again!

What will this switch look like? I have replaced some bulbous sensors before on an older motorhome - think they were for the low air buzzer. But the switch I am looking for would be in the same area?

Yes, there are I believe 3 air switches. 2 for the air tanks and 1 for the brake display. Some Diesels have this switch close to the air brake knob on the dash side console or dash where ever they install the manual knob assbly.

Sounds like time to call for tech support. Your emergency road service, assuming you belong to one, should be able to help you out. Either they can talk you through it send mobile tech. We us Coach-net and have had good luck over the years, usually they get a knowledgeable tech on the line to prevent the costly mobile tech, but then. . .

Or, since you are drive-able they can get you into someplace that can resolve it.

I know, if you are like me that is the last thing you want to do.

Two thoughts.....
If you have a foot operated parking brake there should be a switch on the bracket that is pressed by the pedal arm when it is NOT depressed. There should be TWO wires attached to this switch, the one that attaches directly is the jacks the other one is the Engine control computer and dash display.

Thought 1: Make sure they are connected

Though 2: I often have to try 2 or 3 times to get that Q@#4q switch to close.

The parking brake indicator switch is not working. When brakes applied, the switch is closed and sends the signal to the jack system. If the jacks do not see that signal, they will not work. Do what the other poster stated, release and apply a few times to see if the switch starts working. Doug

Have you released the parking brake and reset it? I sometimes have to do that.
