Leaning coach

My recently purchased older Class C motorhome leans to the left (sags about 6 inches on the left side).
I opted for new, heavier duty rear leaf springs. Several dollars later and a lot of work I ended up with no improvement to the situations. It still sags just as much as it did before.
Any ideas/ suggestions?

  • Tune the radio to Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck and leave it there for a while. It should tilt things to the right.
  • As above I think the first thing is to weigh each corner and then check for uneven loads. If no problem there get another opinion from a qualified suspension shop. Good luck.
  • Adding air bags is a good idea, but why didn't the spring shop add extra support to the sagging side when you had the work done?
  • Thanks, DrewE
The answer is no to both your inquiries. never gave it a thought.

  • Do you have air helper springs such as Firestone Ride-rites? If so, are they both airtight and have equal pressure?

Have you weighed your four corners independently?
