It would be too small for us to spend that much time in. Especially in bad weather. But YMMV.

Month or longer at a time would be tough. They are small and have minimal storage for longer term daily living.

I have to chuckle because I'm considering a View or Navion ...since to me, it is so much roomier than my current RV (in which we took four years' worth of great trips including several lasting two+ months.)

We have friends who love theirs and are happily taking long trips.

It's all about point of view. No pun intended.

We have one now for two years. Longest trip has been 4 days/4 nights. Yes the storage is minimal, one has to be innovative and try not to take too much with you.

I have a cargo carrier and a bike rack at the rear plus now we have a toad.

Usually its just the two of us but we sometimes take family. 4 adults and 2 kids work OK.

We get 15 MPG with a max speed of 65 MPH, and with the toad, the same 15 MPG at 55 MPH.

I think if you hae your motorcycle on a trailer it would work out just fine. Max tongue weight is 350 lb and max tow weight is 3500 lb.

Our model is the 'H' floor plan which suits us just fine. The other floor plans have some tiny windows on the side which sort of belie the name 'View'. So we have the crow's nest over the top front, plus the dinette and sofa make into beds.

Driving is quite easy, the deisel pulls up hills very well. If you have service done by a shop it can be expensive. I did my own oil change for about $100 using the M-B spec oil and filter plus the filter tool, too. No DEF required. Air filters are not too expensive.

Easy to park backing in. Rear view camera works well.

I spend time over about 3 days doing a wash and wax a little at a time.

We have the Via thats real similar to the View, and spend at least 2 winter months in it in Fl. No problems at all. We towed our Sonic last year but found that it was more comfortable to go in the Via (and very little trouble to unhook) even to Walmart so we don't plan to take a Toad at all next year.

Its not just the mileage....these things are dang comfortable and very easy to drive. We did add HWH levelers to stop the rocking when parked but a lot of people make out fine without them.

We had the Itasca Navion which is the same coach. Had plenty of room for us even with a 50lb dog along. We even had unused storage, some of which got used during the trip for "trinkets" the wife would pick up along the way.
Longest trip time wise was 28 days, and close to 4k miles. A couple of bad weather days in there where we had TV and internet coverage, so we didn't get that closed in feeling at all.
Overall we liked it a lot, except in our case it was too big for our style, so we went back to a class B which is plenty big for us.
Biggest turn off in both our Navion and the current class B we have is the Sprinter part. No more Sprinters for us......

We've gone on one-month trips several times in a same-size rig, taking 2 weeks worth of clothes and finding a laundromat in the middle of the trip. It worked just fine, but I couldn't imagine it with more than 2 people.

We have similar size on a Ford 350 chassis. Our Regency model has a Murphy bed so we have lots of room and plenty of storage. We have had it for 2 years now and still have some empty cupboards. We love the size and we were not at all interested in the Sprinter - you loose a lot of storage, price, maintenance etc were all negatives for us.

We have been on 2 three month trips + 2 trips of 9 weeks and many shorter ones. Depending on the trip we sometimes tow our car -- on short trips we often do not.
Everything always works out for us. We have had a Class A and are enjoying the versatility of our B+ more.

We (two of us) did just that two years ago......a month off and toured western national parks. We pulled a small 4x4 toad (with two bikes hanging on it) which was very useful for getting to hiking spots and getting around Yellowstone (we drove 100 miles in one day at Yellowstone). Our only regret was not taking two months off. We never felt cramped in the RV. We loaded up heavily on food we pre-fabricated and froze (pre-cooked our bacon, etc) so we made the most of the space available and minimized grocery stops. We have no problem with storage in the Navion. We did carry some stuff in the toad (like a 20 lb LP tank). We are much more outdoors oriented so we almost always cook outdoors and the TV goes unused. We had laptops and used iphones for hotspots for internet.

I think how much RV space 1 needs is a very individual matter and strictly in the mind so to speak. We workamped for many summers for 10 weeks and snowbirded all winter in a 25 ft. 5th wheel with no slides. Quite small to some. a number of times we wished we were home but never because of lack of space. I don't subscribe to the "bigger is better" mentality. However, we have decided that at this point in our lives we need a dinnete, a couch, a 3 burner stove, a standard size frig with freezer and a fulltime, walk-a-round bed and whatever size is needed for that. So we have a 30 ft. Class C with 2 slides. We have had much smaller and might again 1 day.
