Looking for experience with either Regul or Hercules Tires

I need to replace 4 new tires on my 31 ft. Class A Bounder. I have been quoted Regul @ $120ea., Hercules @ $154da. and Bridgetone @ $225 ea. I am on a limited budget. All brands are load rated the same according to the dealer. Just wanted to know if anyone has had any undesireable experiences with any of these brands?

Seems you have two choices;
1-Buy proper quality tires and relax
2-Buy cheap tires, buy better insurance and be on edge of seat all the time waiting for that biggie.:?

Bought four 245R70:19.5 Hercules for rear duals 2 years ago. Have put about9000 miles on them. No issues except one needed quite a bit of weight. Bought them on Ebay for $200.00 each which included free shipping. I paid $145.00 for mount and balance. I wouldn't use on steer axle but for duals and tag they are great.

I ran Hercules tires on a 43' trailer (Can) owned by the Port of Tacoma, before I retired and was driving (OTR) over the road! No problem with them overall, but they were the hardest rubber tire I ever experienced in 44-1/4 years driving OTR.

Given the price, I'm guessing LT 235/85R16. Know nothing about Regul tires, but I replaced Hercules this summer with Bridgestones. The Hercules performed well for the most part except for the last pair I had put on the front. They suffered from premature vertical cracking and had to be replaced at 2 years, while the last set of rears were good for 5 years with NO signs of cracking. Went to the Bridgestones (R250F) as they are now steel side walled tires. Don't have a lot of miles on the Bridgestones but they seem to be more stable on the road than the Hercules were.

My limited knowledge knows that Regul is a house brand owned by a tire distributor which means the tires are probably produced by the lowest bidder as the distributor does not manufacture tires, So the quality could change quickly.
Hercules tire are North American made by Hercules tire company the last I knew but things change rapidly.
What size are you looking at
