Mission Accomplished

Thank you all for the great advise & photos on how to remove those old heavy Tv sets, got up early Sat morning yanked those babies out, now we are in HD heaven.

    Drove a Transstar II CO like that for a while, best truck I had ever sat in at that time, didnt know a tractor could be that quiet & OH MAN, once I got those rear recap tires cut back round, rode like a car & that 350 big cam Cummins, I was a happy truck driver.

    Seriously, congrats on the on the installation. I'm looking to do the same on mine. My front TV is overhead and I want to make it on the side in place of the chairs. I'm shamelessly looking to steal someone's good idea if I can. I hope yours are as good as I think they would be there.

  • Glad you had some success. I think yanking those boat anchors out and replacing with new light flat-screen units is the #1 mod on these RV's. It is very interesting for me to see all the different mounting mods done by forum members. Many even change the TV's location.
