Went to get 06 Mountain Aire with the 8.1 gas engine from storage today and the engine will not start. The battery is full charge and when I turn the key the dash lights come on i can here all the relays clicking all fuses look good but there is no power to the starter. I had not installed the house batteries but do not think this should affect the engine starting. Last year i had this problem where it would not turn over on one occasion but after 3 attempts it started and never had another problem all summer. As a precaution I had removed the starter cleaned all contacts and grounds and all was well.I will be calling a mechanic tomorrow for service but wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to where I should check next. I am under a bit of pressure as there is a bout in storage behind my RV the the gentleman is looking to get his boat out this week, so I must get my rig moved. Thanks

Just a follow up to my post regarding my engine not starting. The mechanic came out today and in no time he discovered the problem was corrosion behind the fuse box in the engine compartment which allowed no power from the starter relay. After a quick cleaning the engine fired up. Thanks to all for your help, this is a great forum

Could be the ignition switch also, just a thought.

I would install the house batteries and see if the booster helps. That is where I would start.

Are your battery terminals clean and tight?
