Need advice diesel leak
I am on my way to Elkhart area and have a diesel leak. Too old to crawl under and check. Do I take it to Cummins or to Spartan? Advice, please. 2000 American Dream.

Fuel fill hose clamps, most likely. If you can get to them with a screwdriver or nut driver won't take a minute. - my 94 am eagle had one of the hoses that connects the fuel fill to the tank deteriorated enough to leak when the tank was full, it was only a drip, as stated in other post it could be the fuel return line, any truck shop should be able to raise it up enough to fix it
- Are there any fuel filters that haven't been changed in a long time?
I installed a 2 mircron filter several years ago but not many miles. It rusted through the bottom from the inside because a little water gets trapped in it long before it needs changing. You couldn't even see a hole, just moisture. My mechanic buddy said it happens all the time with fine filters that stay on the vehicle a long time.
Look for a drop coming off the bottom. - Does it leak with the engine off after sitting still for half an hour... a leak in the tank. If only when the engine is running and shortly there after... a leak in the return fuel line. I like the idea of a 16 year old.
- any shop that works on rv,s or bigger rigs, or a sixteen year old with a flaslight.

OK, so it's not engine related. Call several truck shops and see who can get you in first. If you're in an RV park they usually have a listing of truck shops.
From what little we know, my first guess would be the tank filling hose is leaking. Therefore they may have to drain or drop the fuel tank so I wouldn't call an RV repair service that will come to wherever you are.
Bill- Any truck repair would be able to go underneath and see what's what.
