new batteries motor and gen stopped turnong over

I replaced the rig whit new batteries and a new solenoid for the generator. Everything started up as expected. two days later clicking in the generator and motor wont turn over.

checked to make sure there wasn't a drain on the power, went back and cleaned all the wires and cleaned the ground cable at the body.

tried to start the generator from battery direct same problem , loud clicking.

is it possible the new batteries from pep boys are
bad or the solenoid at the battery went bad ?

    Yup pepboys is not know for great batteries... If clicking sounds like a low or dead battery to me... see if you can charge the battery from an external battery charger and see if it holds a charge...

    check to make sure that the battery polarity is right with the batteries. Sometimes someone will wire the four batteries wrong and you do not get the full 12 volts.

    If nothing was left on then have them load tested as you want to know - batteries or something else.
