No chassis power! Ford V-10

I had to replace the starter. After replacing it never had the problem again.

Do you have a battery shut off switch that you use to shut the engine battery off when it's stored? Did you turn it back on?

Look under the hood area for a start relay. It should be close to the battery dpending on battery location for chassis. Check to make sure the terminals on the start relay are tight. Adjacent to it there is normally on Fords fuses one of which supplies power to the under dash fuse block.

Thanks enblethen but I dont think that would have anything to do with the headlights etc. not working.

Yes, the main fuse supplies power to all the dash controls including the headlights.

No voltage at all? Put negative probe of your volt meter on negative side of battery. (actual battery post) the positive on probe of the meter on the positive post. Assume you have voltage since it is a good battery. You can check the ground by just moving the negative probe to the chassis ground. If you still have voltage start moving the positive meter probe towards the fuse blocks. You could have a bad ground. Or you could have a broken wire in your harness. When you say no power I am assuming the the starter is not turning at all. Not that it is turning and won't start.

If the starter is turning and it won't start crawl under your F53 chassis. On the passenger side frame about 3 ft in front of the rear axle is a ground wire connected to the frame. If that is a bad ground you can run your starter all day and it won't start.

To me it really sounds like the chassis battery is dead. Are you sure it's good? How do you know?

If your chassis battery is good,try taking both + and - terminals off and clean them up. Hook back up and try it.

HELP!!! can only be delivered by people that know what & which coach you have.

I can tell you this though, you wiggled a wire the other time & it came back to life, then what should that have told you, loose wire somewhere & time to start investigating to find it.
Now what would have happened, if that wire would have came loose again out on an interstate highway & your coach just shut down, bam right in the middle lane.
