My Norcold 1200 LRIM is not in a slideout. It does have two fans midway up on the rear of the cooling unit. I replaced both fans and the thermostat that were bad. I am currently in a campground with 90 + degree temps. My freezer is at 6 degrees and the fridge is at 34 degrees with the control set at 6. These fans make a tremendous difference.
