OBD connector location

Question

Hello everyone,I'm new to all this (RVing and this forum).We have just purchased a 2004 National RV tropical. Having issues with the warning panel and would like to connect the scanner to it, but not able to locate the OBD connector on the chassis side. Does anyone out there know where I might find it??ThanksScott

Generally speaking next to the steering column. Usually on the left. May have a "Wrapper around the column and the OBD port.

The key words in that paragraph are GENERALLY SPEAKING.. Means they may have hid it somewhere else.

The F53 OBDII port is factory installed on the right side of the steering column. The location is meant to be temporary as shown below. Note that the port has a cap on it that can make it difficult to see. I relocated mine to the bottom of the dash as the final manufacturer should have.
